Founded in 1926 as Sheppard Stone Weatherproofing in Baltimore, Worcester Eisenbrandt Inc. has evolved into a premier historic renovation and restoration firm serving the Washington D.C. and Baltimore regions. Our journey began with a focus on masonry repair and restoration, expanded in 1956 under Fred H. Eisenbrandt Incorporated, and was further strengthened in 1987 through a merger with Worcester Brothers Company, bringing expertise in concrete, wood, and steel construction. Today, we stand as a comprehensive contractor specializing in the conservation and restoration of historic buildings.
With over 1,400 projects completed since 1987, approximately 70% of which are architecturally, historically, or culturally significant, our portfolio includes a diverse range of governmental, institutional, commercial, and private sites across the Mid-Atlantic region. Notable projects include the restoration of the Washington Monument in Baltimore, MD, and the renovation of stained glass windows at Gilman Hall, Johns Hopkins University. Many of our projects are listed or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places, reflecting our commitment to preserving structures of historical importance.
